SES PROFINET

Overview

SES HART to PROFINET Gateway stack consists of SES’s HART Master stack and open source PROFINET stack. This allows legacy HART 4-20 ma devices to be communicating on a Ethernet based networks such as APL and deliver data using PROFINET protocol. SES stack will automatically generate GSDML file for device communication for all device information that is derived from HART universal commands. This enables PROFINET PLC applications to communicate to HART devices readily.

Features of the SES PROFINET stack are:

• Implemented for small, embedded microcontrollers with smaller code and data memory requirements.
• Implements all HART universal commands.
• LLDP to enable device Discovery and Configurations.
• HART Master stack included for discovering attached 4-20 ma devices.
• Uses Open source PROFINET stack.
• Web UI Interface for end user configuration and troubleshooting.
• Implemented for STM32, but portable to other platforms.
• SES custom firmware engineering allows for quick migration to your architecture.
